Extra virgin olive oil
Pure olive juice of the KORENEIKI variety, Cretan extra virgin olive oil is a treasure for the taste buds and for your health. A few km from theMasseria Falasarna, we still find trees that are over 2500 years old, be aware ! We carry out a small production with our 50 olive trees, more to leave it to the good pleasure of the guests of the Masseria, but above all we select the best wines to benefit our customers in France.

Cristian Leduc, owner of theMasseria Falasarna, is a real enthusiast of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Fine connoisseur and graduate of the Italian school "ONAOO" as an "Olive oil taster", he offers for sale a selection of the best local wines!
We provide free of charge to our guests in the villaMasseria Falasarnaour own production for their culinary pleasures.
We offer for sale, an organic extra virgin olive oil, selected by us from small producers, harvest 2016/17.
We can on request send it to you in France where we have a little stock.

The olives are ready! it's high time to pick them! At dawn, we install nets and automatic combs...
Once collected from the nets, they are packaged in large airy bags en jute to prevent fermentation. They can weigh up to 60 kg!
Our 50 olive trees collected gave us 8 bags of olives for just over 320kg...but how much oil?
With my friend Fotis, today my teacher, we went to the Platanos village cooperative to extract a pure olive juice!

For our first harvest, we got 84 litres! Our extra virgin olive oil is looking forward to our future guests in the dining room of the villaMasseria Falasarna!
